GOALS
IRSA aims to organize various academic and social activities for the IR students in TIU as a way to build networks and foster relationships among the diverse student body. Moreover, IRSA functions as an intermediary between the students and the IR faculty members for the enhancement of learning experiences beyond the classrooms.
Since the establishment of IRSA as a student circle until now as an official student organization, the Association continuously exerts efforts towards building a closer connection between the E-track and J-track departments through collaborative events and promotional partnerships.
IRSA facilitates academic exchanges for IR students in TIU to further develop their experiences and hone their skills for future careers through providing platforms for knowledge sharing and skill training. Among the academic activities which are regularly organized are the Seminars, Reading Groups, and the newly-launched Undergraduate Paper Series.
IRSA also organizes social activities to create a friendly environment to help students expand their network and enjoy student life besides academic work. Trivia Night, Student-Faculty Bonding Event, and Treasure Hunt are some of the social events that were held in the previous semesters.
